Dr. Yi-Yi Chen is Associate Professor of Department of Social Work in National Taiwan University. The campus is located in Taipei City which is the most metropolitan area of Taiwan with a population of 23,923,276 in 2023 - four times that of Sydney, NSW, Australia.

National Taiwan University is a leading institute in higher education, research, and innovation in Taiwan. Department of Social Work is known for leadership in human services, non-profit organizations, and public administration of social welfare. The faculty members work closely with practitioners, professional groups, and international partners in social work.

Yi-Yi dedicates her career to community practice and developmental social work. Her goal is to employ research methods as tools supporting grassroot practitioners, social workers, and social services agencies to articulate, implement, and evaluate their work.
